In my classroom we have been working hard on our math modules.  It’s not a secret that these modules can sometimes be a little dry and dare I say it….boring.  

Last module I created the Array Bakery to help motivate students to practice their multiplication and division skills.  I did a simple room transformation by adding a few table cloths and bringing in my kitchen gadgets.  You can read about it on the blog here. 

Motivating your students to want to practice their math.

This math module I decided to create another math room transformation. This one is The Apple Orchard Room Transformation. 

It includes 9+ activities including:
-Elapsed Time
-Addition with Regrouping
-Subtraction with Regouping
-Rounding to the Nearest 10
-Rounding to the Nearest 100
-Arrays (multiplication)
and more!
