In our last post, we shared some of the ways we are making our Balloon Countdown work remotely for the final 10 days of school (yes we are still not out yet). You can check out the post here to see the first few things we had planned. These included Pinwheel Flower delievery, S’Mores Day, Chopped Challenge, and Summer Birthday celebrations! This post is going to be all about the last few days of the Balloon Pop! We purchased a virtual Balloon Pop … [Read more...]
End of the Year Balloon Countdown: Planning
Right now we are in the process of planning our end of the year countdown! Every year we do a Ballon Popping Countdown. If you have ever done one, you know that it is as much for the adults as it is for the kids! We hang 10 balloons up in the classroom and each one had a message in it. We pop one balloon each morning until the last day of school. Each message reveals a fun day or activity that we will be doing that day. We didn't want to skip it this year, … [Read more...]

We did it. We pushed through, “figured it out,” and did it all with a smile. Here we are. … [Read more...]
St. Patrick’s Day Freebie
Hello there! It sure has been a whirlwind since our last post. I know that as teachers we are all trying to help out our students as they are missing their schoolwork and their daily routines. It is hard because here in our district, first they told us that they were not going to do any distance learning because of inequity of access for our students (some students don't have access to internet, computers, ipads, etc). Now there are rumblings that we will be … [Read more...]
