I got rid of the nightly reading log years ago…you can read more about that here! Nightly reading is so important for students, but it shouldn’t be a chore. It shouldn’t be a chore for students, parents, or teachers! I started to do this NIGHTLY Reading Log a few years back and my students LOVE it! I tape it into the cover of my students’ homework agenda (or it could live in their homework folder).
