I can’t believe it is almost October! I just pulled out my October resources to make some copies. Here are a few of my favorite October resources and activities if you want to check them out!
These Haunted House Fact Families are a huge hit! My students love them and they make a really cute bulletin board. Students complete the multiplication and division fact families in the windows of the house. Then they color and assemble. If you are looking for addition and subtraction houses, they are here.
Our second math unit includes rounding numbers. This Round-a-Scarecrow activity is a lot of fun and students get to make choices about their scarecrows clothes and accessories.
Are you doing division problem solving? If so, this Division Problem Solving activity is great practice. There are several different versions, so the class has a great variety. Check it out here.
I think I LOVE these the most….these Multiplication Color By Codes are differentiated. Each picture comes in two versions (0-5) and (0-11). These are great fact practice for centers, fast finishers, morning work, and so much more! I have some kids who beg to bring them home to complete more.
Our second math unit also includes telling time. It jumps right into elapsed time…and most of my class doesn’t know how to tell time on a clock. These Telling Time Color By Code sheets really help students practice telling time and they enjoy doing it!
Every month I give students these BINGO sheets for their home reading. They are a huge hit and both students and parents prefer these over a regular reading logs.
And last…here is a Orchard Room Transformation/center bundle that I use with my class for our second module of Eureka Math/Engage New York. This set is an Apple Orchard and includes so many great skills including rounding, units of measure, telling time, and so much more!
Grab An October FREEBIE!
