So here is a quick teacher tip that I have been using for years and thought you might want to try it! Are you tired of kids flipping pages in their notebooks….flipping….flipping….still unable to find the page that they were working on? Here is a quick and easy hack that works so well in my classroom! Use a piece of ribbon to make a bookmark. At the beginning of the year, I cut a piece of ribbon and tape it into the the back cover. Super simple but it makes a built in bookmark when the kids fold it over. It truly saves SO MUCH TIME and paper flipping! If you are really on your “A-Game” you can color code the ribbon to match their reading or math groups. This might save you some time sorting notebooks or keeping organized.
I hope this tip helps save you and your students some time! Have a great week.
