Now it is time to switch gears and really start planning for Valentine’s Day in the classroom! To help you get a head start, I have put some of my Valentine’s resources on sale for 20% off for a few days (sale ends this Wednesday 1/18)!
You can enjoy Valentine’s Day Printable Bookmarks, which I love passing out on Valentine’s Day. There are color versions as well as B&W
coloring options. Another thing that is fun to pass out on Valentine’s Day is a Free Homework Pass for each student! There are 5 different designs and color versions as well as B&W coloring options for these too.
Another resource that I use in my classroom during the beginning of February is Multiplication BINGO. At this point in the year, our multiplication is in full swing, so any chance we can get to squeeze in a little [fun] practice is perfect! We have a Math Small Group Instruction time in our schedule, so typically we do our intervention groups at this point in our day. I like to try to target the different math skills in the most engaging [fun] ways possible. One way is to
play Valentine’s Day Multiplication BINGO and Valentine’s Day Addition BINGO! We have played as a whole class (I just print off multiple sets of cards) as well as in the small group setting! It is a perfect way to practice their math facts!
Enjoy
